I. Product Overview
This equipment is a stainless-steel distillation extractor that integrates distillation, condensation, and separation functions. It is suitable for the distillation and recovery of plant essential oils, active ingredients from traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, fragrances, and materials used in the food and chemical industries, making it an ideal choice for essential oil extraction, herbal distillation, and the processing of flavors and fragrances. The main body is fabricated from polished stainless steel, featuring a compact design, convenient disassembly and assembly, and easy cleaning.
II. Equipment Composition
1. Distillation kettle (main vessel): A large, vertical cylindrical vessel with a domed head; lifting handles are provided on both sides of the vessel. The bottom is equipped with a circumferential array of evenly spaced ports to ensure uniform media entry. The vessel side features a sight glass/level gauge and multiple inlet and outlet nozzles, each fitted with blue‑handled valves for intuitive and convenient operation.
2. Distillation Column and Condensation System: A distillation column is vertically mounted at the center of the vessel head, with its top connected via a three-way fitting to two-stage horizontal condensers. The condenser tubes are interconnected by U‑shaped bends. All piping connections utilize quick‑release clamp fittings, ensuring reliable sealing and rapid assembly/disassembly.
3. Collection and Separation Unit: A standalone tripod‑style support structure, comprising, from top to bottom, a receiving funnel, a pear‑shaped separatory funnel (for oil–water separation and collection of the distillate), and an outlet valve with a blue handle; multiple pipelines are connected to the main column, with valves offering flexible control.
4. Feed and Monitoring Assembly: The bottom of the main tank is equipped with a feed funnel, a sight glass section, and a feed control valve, facilitating material charging, visual inspection, and flow regulation.
III. Main Features
1. Two-stage condensation for thorough recovery: The upper and lower condensers, coupled with a U-shaped connecting pipe, provide a long condensation path and excellent cooling performance, effectively enhancing the recovery rate of the distillate.
2. Oil–water separation design: The pear-shaped liquid‑separation vessel enables oil–water separation of the distillate, facilitating the isolation and collection of essential oils and other products.
3. Quick‑release clamp connections: The main pipelines utilize quick‑release clamp fittings, enabling tool‑free assembly and disassembly, facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance, and meeting hygienic‑grade requirements.
4. Premium stainless steel construction: The entire unit is crafted from polished stainless steel, offering a smooth, corrosion-resistant surface that’s easy to clean and ensures a long service life.
