How to repair the leakage of stainless steel pressure tank?
The stainless steel tank has been in use for a long time. Due to defects such as cracks, sand holes, wear, and welds in the fuel tank itself, water and oil leakage may occur under pressure. If re welded, it is not easy to operate and there are safety hazards during construction. How to repair the leakage of stainless steel pressure tank?
How to repair the leakage of stainless steel pressure tank?
Firstly, you need to find the leakage point and clean the inside and outside of the stainless steel bucket to avoid dust. Polish the leakage point until it is very flat. Prepare a special stainless steel adhesive, wipe the applied area clean and keep it dry, and then evenly apply it to the leaking area, with a piece of stainless steel attached to the surface. You can choose the welding method to avoid water leakage in the future.
If there is no dedicated stainless steel adhesive, steel repair agent can also be used instead. It is necessary to mix evenly according to the instructions, and then apply this repair agent evenly to the cracks and their surrounding areas. After it is fully cured, it can be repaired through mechanical processing.
3. Use mechanical polishing to polish the leaking area. If there are cracks, the cracks should be removed. If there are air holes or inclusions, the defects should be removed. Then, use suitable welding materials for a second welding repair. Welding repair can be divided into two types: repair with water and repair without water. In terms of safety and success rate, it is better to use BROCO underwater welding rods from the United States for repair with water. If there is no water, it is recommended to use WEELDING600 welding rods with excellent crack resistance for emergency repair.
What are the usage and maintenance methods for stainless steel pressure tanks?
1. The installation of the device requires selecting a well ventilated, dust-free, and humidity free area, with an ambient humidity between -10 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius. Outdoor facilities such as rain and lightning protection are required.
In order to facilitate the installation and maintenance of the device, a space of 70 centimeters should be left around the device, a space of 1.5 meters should be left at the manhole, and a drainage ditch should be set around the ground.
3. After selecting the site, the foundation should be treated and the tank support should be poured with concrete or masonry. Wait until the base solidifies, then lift and stabilize the tank, install accessories, and connect the power supply.
Before trial operation, it is necessary to close the water supply valve and check the condition of each sealing valve to ensure that there is no leakage. After driving, pay attention to the steering of the pump. When the pressure gauge pointer reaches the upper limit, the pump will automatically end. Open the water supply valve and supply water normally. If a timed water supply is required, turn the selection switch to the manual position.
5. The automatic control system of electrical appliances needs to be waterproof and dustproof. Regularly check the insulation of the circuit, whether the connecting bolts are loose, and whether the fuses are in good condition. The surface of the pressure gauge should be covered with transparent material as much as possible to avoid damage.
If the pressure tank is painted or peeled off, it should be immediately painted and maintained to help extend its service life.
