1. First, locate the leak and thoroughly clean both the inside and outside of the stainless steel container to remove any dust. Sand the leaking area until it is completely smooth. Prepare a specialized stainless steel adhesive, wipe the application surface clean and ensure it is dry, then apply the adhesive evenly to the leak. Finally, affix a piece of stainless steel over the repaired area. You may also opt for welding to prevent future leaks.

2. If a dedicated stainless steel adhesive is unavailable, a steel repair compound may be used as a substitute. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to mix the compound thoroughly, then apply it evenly to the crack and the surrounding area. Once fully cured, the repaired surface can be machined for further refinement.

3. Grind the leaking area mechanically; if there are cracks, remove them, and if there are porosity or inclusions, eliminate those defects. Then, perform a second weld repair using an appropriate welding consumable. Welding repairs fall into two categories: with water and without water. For underwater repairs, from both a safety and success‑rate perspective, it is preferable to use BROCO’s underwater welding electrodes from the United States. For dry‑environment repairs, we recommend using WEWELDING 600 electrodes, which offer excellent crack resistance, for emergency patching.

1. The device should be installed in a well-ventilated, low-dust, and dry location, with ambient temperatures ranging from –10°C to 40°C. Outdoor protective measures, such as rainproofing and lightning protection, are required.

2. To facilitate the installation and maintenance of the equipment, a clearance of 70 cm shall be provided around the unit; a clearance of 1.5 m shall be maintained at the manhole; and drainage channels shall be installed around the floor.

3. After site selection, the foundation shall be prepared by constructing tank supports using concrete or masonry. Once the base has fully cured, lift and stabilize the tank, then install the accessories and connect the power supply.

4. Before the trial run, close the water supply valve and inspect all sealing valves to ensure there are no leaks. After starting the pump, verify its rotation direction. When the pressure gauge reaches its upper limit, the pump will shut down automatically. Open the water supply valve to resume normal water flow. If timed water supply is required, set the selector switch to the manual position.

5. The automatic control system of electrical equipment must be waterproof and dustproof. Regularly inspect the insulation of wiring, ensure that connection bolts are securely tightened, and verify that fuses are in good condition. The face of pressure gauges should be covered with transparent material whenever possible to prevent damage.

6. If the pressure tank’s paint is chipped or peeling, it should be repainted promptly to help extend its service life.
